Repertoire for World Festival can include:

  1. Music from other cultures and traditions

  2. Folk music

  3. Patriotic music

  4. Music listed in our Festival Bulletin is also acceptable, with the exception of Piano Solo selections

  5. Hymns and Jewish folk music

  6. Patriotic and Folk music

Repertoire for Sacred Music Festival can include:

  1. Worship Music

  2. Hymns

  3. Music listed in the Festival Bulletin under Hymns

  4. Improvisation is acceptable but needs to be indicated with a note for the judge on students’ music

Sacred Music participants that earn a Superior will receive a trophy with a medallion insert picturing a cross.

World Music participants that earn a Superior will receive a trophy with a medallion insert picturing a globe or music symbol.

Students earning an Excellent or Satisfactory rating will receive a medal.
